CMG DataLab delivers real-time deal launches, amendments and pricing updates. Portfolio managers and analysts can review full deal terms, benchmark against historical comps and assess participation in the same session a deal is launched, removing the lag that causes firms to miss windows or act with incomplete information.
The enhanced DataLab Calendar surfaces live offering details across 50+ covered regions, and the DataLab mobile app (iOS) keeps deal data accessible outside the desk. F
Yes. CMG XC enables buy-side firms with a verified underwriter relationship to submit IOIs directly through the platform and receive allocations electronically via STP integration with their OMS and via the web app. Buy-side participants can view their allocations within the platform once released by the underwriters. This removes manual processes, reduces back-and-forth with syndicate desks and creates a record of participation activity across offerings. The platform alerts buy-side users to any outstanding compliance requirements before submission, so teams are not caught off-guard during a live deal.
CMG surfaces compliance requirements directly within the order workflow so buy-side teams can resolve them without leaving the platform. Supported certificate types include FINRA Rules 5130 and 5131, Rule 144A QIB and Regulation S. The platform restricts IOI submission if a required certificate is not on file or has expired, and new certificates can be procured via a DocuSign e-signature workflow initiated directly from the platform.
Block trades, follow-ons, lock-up expirations and secondary sell-downs introduce supply-driven price movements that traditional corporate action feeds often miss or reflect weeks after the fact. By the time shares outstanding updates appear in a 10-Q, market prices have already adjusted. CMG delivers real-time ECM intelligence across registered and unregistered transactions, allowing investors to model equity supply as it happens. The structured historical dataset covers 38,000+ transactions over 20+ years across 50+ regions, with 200+ data points per deal. The Real-Time Feed (GraphQL API) allows quant and data teams to extract specific fields for model integration.
